This is one of my favorite cards I have made with Layers of Color Clear Art Stamps. For this card, I used the stamp set Touch of Elegance (which is actually on sale this month). I stamped the damask image with black ink on Soft Sand cardstock to create a dramatic background pattern, wrapped it with ribbon/lace and layered it on Black cardstock. The beautiful lace on this card is actually from from my dear friend Nina in Croatia. I hope you saw the post about her over on the Paper Crafts Connection blog...just an amazing testimony of Nina sharing the love of Christ through paper crafting. And if you haven't checked it out, be sure you do as there is a FABulous prize from some pretty popular companies!!! :o)
Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

Ooo, this is also one of my favorite cards of yours, Jennie! It's so classically elegant, so strikingly beautiful! We're so blessed to have you guest design for us this month!
Hugs my dear!
Oh My Jennie... this is so elegant, absolutely beautiful!
Jennie, absolutely gorgeous. Love everything about it. I need to get some of these stamps, they make the most beautiful bg paper. Also your sentiment is so pretty with the layering of images and sponging. TFS
Gorgeous card! Black and white are my favorite "Elegant card" colors :)
Jennie this is so gorgeous!! The black and white and all the embellishments come together to create an elegant project that is a jaw dropper!
Jennie, this is gorgeous. Your embellishments were perfect choices. I probably would have hoarded the lace that Nina sent you. You didn't and it make a gorgeous addition to this already gorgeous card.
Amen! I love the sentiment. No, I love the whole card, you rock GF!
Oh, so elegant, Jennie! The black and sand look great together, with the lace and ribbon!

Thanks for much for sharing a link to Nina's story! My family ministers in Albania, not far from Croatia, and it was so great to see how Nina is using her love of papercrafting in her work there!
