Thank You

Hello! I have a fun card to share today that I made using The Paper Loft patterned paper and combined it with the sketch challenge. I love sketches of any sort and was excited to see they started them this month on The Paper Loft Blog. All of the paper (except the Ivory cardstock is from The Paper Loft and either Everyday Life or Easy Breezy).

The house was die cut using the Spellbinders Home Sweet Home dies and the sentiment is from Love Dwells Here.

Obviously I have been a bit hit/miss blogging due to all the extra things this month. We are having a wonderful month and amazed Christmas is just a few days away...how did THAT happen!  I felt so ahead the start of the month and wham, now it is nearly over!  Yikes... I have more Christmas cards to get postal or handed in person so obviously behind just a smidge :) (as usual, lol!)

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

CardMaker Blog Hop: For You, From Me

Welcome to another CardMaker Blog hop!  Today we are focusing on last-minute gift card holders. Often a gift card is the perfect way to go during the Christmas season and I love to have several gift card holders on hand to add a personal touch. Here is mine:

The gift card base is 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 3", 5 1/2" and 8". I decorated it with patterned paper stamped the sentiment using the blocks and letters from Lots of Letters. This is the newest stamp set Melanie has illustrated for Gina K. Designs and it has so many possibilities!!!
 Here is the inside:
Be sure to check out the inspiration from the rest of the team.  I know that I am looking forward to seeing the gift card holders everyone has created!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day! Blessings,

Scor-Pal and Core-dinations Blog Week

I am excited the project I made for the  Scor-Pal and Core-dinations blog week. Today I wanted to share a coffee cup I made using Kittie Franken's tutorial found here.
Supplies:
Stamp set: Hello Winter (Penny Black)
Die: Standard Circles (Spellbinders)
Adhesive: Scor-Tape

Place your 9" x 4 1/2" piece of card stock in the top right corner of Scor-Pal.  Score at 1", 2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 7" and 8".
Turn paper and score at 1 1/2".
Turn paper over and distress score marks with the Sand It Gadget
Cut each 1" score line to where the score lines intersect. Remove the small rectangular end and create a flap by notching the ends and add Scor-Tape.
Fold score marks to form cup. Turn over and attach opposite flaps using Scor-Tape.

To make the handle, use two circle dies to create a ring.
After they are die-cut, cut circle in half and score at 1/4" flap on each open end.
Attach together and adhere handle to cup.
Thanks for checking out my project and hope you will give it a try!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

Scor-Pal meets CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog

Hello peeps!  I am excited to share that Scor-Pal is hosting the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge this week. For my card, I scored the bottom portion of my green panel and added some Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps (Christmas Sentiments and Snowflake Silhouettes) and Sweet Folk Art Spellbinders dies. And yes...this is one of my Christmas cards, I officially started making them last night!  Yikes...I have some major card making to do :)

Hope you get a chance to play along, there is an amazing Scor-Pal prize up for grabs!!

Personal note: It has been a long week as our daughter has been sick with whatever is going around...taking her to the doctor in the morning as she is in a Christmas play Sunday night and not sure it would be wise to wait much longer. Always something :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

Great Gifts Blog Hop

Welcome to the Great Gifts Blog Hop featuring the Technique Junkie Newsletter, Sweet 'n Sassy stamps and Eclectic Paperie!

I have had so much fun using the Great Gifts CD (which includes 40 creative projects to make for any occasion), Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, and a bunch of goodies from Kim's store: Eclectic Paperie!  Of course, I already have some things from her store so worked those in as well. If you haven't ever shopped at Eclectic Paperie, I highly recommend it...super fast shipping and she carries a ton of product!!

Today I wanted to share a Tea Bag Dispenser I made using the project steps from the Technique Junkies Great Gifts CD:
The tea dispenser is made using a piece of Certainly Celery 12 x 12 cardstock. I layered onto it some Lily Bee Persnickty patterned papers.  Love anything yellow/green and since my tea bags are Twinings Earl Grey (my personal favorite!), I was tickled that they would even color coordinate with my project.  The adorable mouse image and sentiment is Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Tea Time Cocoa. The lid of the box was sponged with ink using a Dylusions Stencil: Diamond of a Border. And here is a view from the side:
The sentiment is stamped on Mini Canvas Tag Pieces which I sponged with Cantaloupe ink.
Each company will be giving away a prize for this hop so be sure to hop along and leave comments:

    Scor-Pal & Pink Paislee

Today I wanted to share two quick and easy projects that I had on the Scor-Pal blog recently: a Treat Holder and an Easel Card.

    Supplies:
Card Stock: Moonlit Fog and White (Gina K. Designs)
    Bling: Want2Scrap
Die: Open Scallop Border (My Favorite Things)
    Adhesive: Scor-Tape

Place your 3 1/2" x 10 1/2" piece of card stock in the top right corner of Scor-Pal.  Score at 4", 4 1/2", 5" and 9".  Fold cards tock in half at the 4 1/2" score line.  Then fold the 4" and 5" score lines in the opposite directions to create the bottom of the treat bag.  Fold down the flap.

    Then simply decorate as desired.
    And here is the inside:
For the Easel Card I used THIS tutorial:
    Here is a side view:
I am so glad you stopped by today and hope you will give one of these easy projects a try!!
    Blessings,
