Welcome to day 3 of our August feature Blog Hops!  Today we're featuring a wonderful new set, Decorative Frames, that coordinates with one of our existing die sets, Decorative Plaques....a perfect match!

  • Stamp set includes 8 images and 12 sentiments

Hello, Dear Friend

Hello!  Today I have a card to share that I made for the June sketch challenge over on The Craft's Meow blog.  The sentiment it from Sew Lovely and the butterfly is from a Layers of Color stamp set.  I used Teresa Collins Sweet Afternoon  patterned paper and added a bit of Want2Scrap bling.
I know I have something exciting to share pretty soon....but can't just yet, sigh....very soon though!  The parental units (LOVE them) are in town so off to spend a fun day with them until some baseball games for the boys tonight.   Here is a pic I had to share of my little guy sliding into home...keep in mind this is T-Ball and NO ONE is trying to get him out.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

NinaB Designs Blog Hop

Welcome to the NinaB Designs's 2nd blog hop! We had a great time last month and we just want to thank you for your enthusiasm and encouraging words. The NBD team has new projects to show you today featuring NinaB Designs Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (Home Sweet Home and Sewing Elements), The Craft's Meow Stamps, and Want2Scrap bling. We have added a new twist to our hop. Not only do we have tons of inspiration for you, but we also are joining in the Crafty Friends' challenge that you can participate in. And of course, there will be prizes up for grabs! You will find more info below, but first...here is my project:

I used the The Craft's Meow stamp set Mother and Father and paired it with the Spellbinders dies Sewing Elements and the little heart from Home Sweet Home.  The patterned paper is Every Day Moments from Teresa Collins and love the blue/yellow color combination.  I stamped the sentiment using Memento Paris Dusk just above the sentiment on the patterned paper of {memories} what I will remember most... which I found most fitting.

For the sewing machine die cut itself, I stamped the dots from Vintage Backgrounds using Memento Cantaloupe ink onto Sweet Corn cardstock prior to die cutting.  Here is a close-up of the sewing machine die cut:

Adding a little Want2Scrap Beautiful Bling Borders Endless Waves to the base of the sewing machine.

THE CHALLENGE: If you choose to participate in the challenge, create a new project that uses two die cuts. They don't have to come from two different die cut sets. Then, link it to the Crafty Friends' challenge blog. One participant will win the Sewing Elements dies. You can enter as many as you want. THE RULES: Leave a comment on as many blog hop stops as possible. FOUR commenters left on the NinaB Designs team blogs will be picked to win prizes. One comment per blog please. This is open to our international friends. Here are the links to the NBD team:
