CFC126 - Happy

 Hey there!  Today I have a CAS card to share that I made using two Sweet Stamp Shop sets: Elegant Flowers and Elegant Sentiments. I am entering this into the CFC126 Color Blocks challenge from that CAS-ual Friday Challenge blog and used Memento Tangelo, Lilac Posies, Cantaloupe and Pear Tart to randomly stamped the flower image. I finished it with some Want2Scrap bling and a bit of twine.

 Hello!  Today I have a card using an adorable stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop called Baking Love. The background was created by sponging distress inks on an ivory panel and spritzing a brick stencil (from The Crafter's Workshop) with water. Uber cool and fun techinque....definitely adds a cool design!

The Easy Bake Oven image was stamped with Oynx Black ink, embossed with clear embossing powder and inked/stenciled the same as the background.  I fussy cut and popped it up on some dimensionals and added some Want2Scrap bling.

CSS Sketch Challenge Blog Hop

Today I am joining the uber creative STV Alumni CSS group for the first hop of October, which is a sketch challenge. Hopefully you came via sweet Joy's blog , but if not and you want to start from the beginning, go to the STV forum HERE.

I recently got this fun new set, Lots of Lines, via a publication incentive from GKD and LOVE the lined images and fancy sentiments so had to work it into the sketch!!

 

The background was created using a stencil and Dylusions spray ink. The focal image was stamped separately using Clearsnap ink and popped up on dimensionals.

Next stop on the hop is Geri...I can't wait to see what she created using this fun sketch!!

The Craft's Meow: Circle It

I used Memento Rich Cocoa, Desert Sand and Nautical Blue ink for this card. I added an arrow using a Studio Calico wooden veneer and a little pearl bling.

The Craft's Meow: Sweet Memories

Today is the third day of the previews for four new stamp sets soon to be available through The Craft's Meow on June 21.  All the designers' projects can be seen over on TCM's company blog along with their links for more details, so be sure to check them out.  Today we are featuring Nina Brackett's new set, Sweet Memories.

I stamped the label onto patterned paper and layered it with some purple cardstock. I added  three silhouette images from Sweet Silhouettes to signify our three blessings, our girl and 2 boys!  This is such a special set and will be perfect for Project Life or card making... going to dive into Project Life this summer and this will be a go-to stamp set!

I'll be back tomorrow with another card from The Craft's Meow June stamp set release!  This is such a great release - and had so much fun playing with all of the new sets! A stamp set will be given away to some

Birthday Greetings

 I always have a need for birthday cards and this new set, Chalkboard Birthday from The Craft's Meow is perfect!! I incorporated the color challenge from the Play Date Cafe and used my favorite new stencil from The Crafter's Workshop: Honeycomb. I added some ribbon and Want2Scrap bling and found this color combo went quite well together...I was shocked, lol! :P

 I made this one using the colors from the Play Date Cafe Challenge (Maroon, Poppy and Soft Jade) for this week. I stenciled the top half of the card front using a Crafter's Workshop stencil and paired it with a chevron patterned paper.  The color scheme from PDCC worked perfectly!!

For this card, I used a stencil and sponged Bamboo Leaves ink onto a green card base. The floral image was colored with Spectrum Noir markers.

I used Puzzle Parts from Penny Black and  Lovely Labels 18 from The Craft's Meow. I stamped the images using Memento Bamboo Leaves and Nautical Blue ink and added some wooden scrabble pieces to form the word: DAD and accented with Want2Scrap bling.

Make a Wish

Hi there! Today I have a card to share that I made for the CAS-ual Friday's Tic Tac Toe Challenge using SRM stickers, Spellbinders dies, Want2Scrap bling and The Crafter's Workshop stencils. I love combining these companies!! Stenciling is BIG right now and definitely been a favorite technique of mine as it makes some poppin' CAS cards.

Thinking of You

Hi there!  Just thought I would pop in and share a card I made using a new Penny Black stamp, Kisses in the Sun, that I picked up at my LSS (Betty's Scrapbooking Room in Greensboro, NC). LOVE this collage image! I stamped the image using Versafine Oynx Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I die cut it using a Spellbinders label die and sponged the image (while still in the die) using Memento Cantaloupe and New Sprout. The butterfly was stamped a second time popped up using a pop dot.

The background was stamped using Puzzle Parts and Memento Bahama Blue and New Sprout ink. I added a bit of Want2Scrap bling and a SRM sentiment.

The Craft's Meow: Sweet Sentiments

I created my own patterned paper using one of the floral images from Flower Garden and Memento ink: Pear Tart and Lulu Lavender. I stamped them repeatedly and then stamped the focal point using the same inks with the sentiment stamped using Grape Jelly. Love that this new set coordinates with Labels Ten and paired it with the girl image from Sweet Silhouettes.
