The Craft's Meow September Blog Hop

Hello friends!  Today the The Craft's Meow DT is having an "Anything Goes" themed blog hop.
I used the stamp set Chalkboard Birthday and incorporated the ghosting technique using Distress inks and water.
A white cardstock panel was sponged generously using Distress inks. Once I was satisfied with the coverage, I laid a stencil from Judikins and misted the panel with water. Simply set aside and the pattern will appear as it drives (you can speed this up with a heat gun).

Below is step by step of "how-to" from a blog post I had on the TCM Blog yesterday.

First I sponged some Distress inks onto a white cardstock panel using distress inks and gathered a stencil and water spritzer.
Place the stencil on the inked cardstock panel and spray the panel with water.
Gently roll a paper towel roll over the stencil/panel to absorb the water.
Lift the stencil and finish the card as desired. I added one of the sentiments from Chalkboard Birthday

Here is The Craft's Meow stamp sets I used on my cards:

The Craft's Meow August Release Blog Hop

Today is The Craft's Meow August Release Design Team Blog Hop! I hope you stopped by from Gayatri's blog. If not, I would love for you to join us from the start at The Craft's Meow Blog because someone is going to win the entire collection of new releases and it could be you!
Today I have a card to share using Nina Brackett's newest set Folk Art Blooms:
Love the solid floral images in this set. I stamped mine using Clearsnap ink and sprayed some Dylusions on the card base before adding the flowers I had fussy cut.

For this next card, I used new set (illustrated by Clare Buswell) Dream Catcher which is August's Gift with $60 purchase...
I created the background by applying various distress inks to a white piece of cardstock. Then I set a stencil over it and misted with water, roll a paper towel over it and voila....instant pattern!!  After that I stamped and embossed the image :)

Would you like to win these new TCM stamps???
