SNSS Christmas in July Blog Hop

Love these ornament dies!  For this card, I stamped the green ornaments, then die cut and stamped a coordinating one to place in the center. Super easy!!!!

First I die cut the poinsettia using red cardstock and stamped/embossed using Versafine Oynx Black and clear embossing powder. It was a bit too red, so I misted it with White Dylusions ink spray...definitely the more subtle look I was wanting!  The patterned paper is Simple Stories.

Love these new dies and will definitely be cranking out some Christmas cards using these this year!!!

How Sweet

Today I have a card I made using some Penny Black stamp.

I used Sweet as Honey and the background Floral Thread and a bit of watercoloring. The background was stamped using Pear Tart and I layered the die cut image which was watercolored (using distress inks).

I am entering this into the newest Penny Black challenge: 

I have been having a hard time finding crafty time lately...much less blog hopping!

This summer has been crazy and currently the big kids are off to the Wilds for a week of camp and I am still organizing/reorganizing from moving my craft room out to create a home office for my DH. I had NO IDEA I had so much stuff!!! Oh my goodness, this has been painful! And now a new CHA is happening with some fab new products coming and I am in trouble all over again. Biggest must have right now....the new Archival ink colors!!

Friendship: Delightful Doiles

Today I have two Delightful Doilies cards to share with you today using the Tim Holtz distress paints.  I saw these at my LSS: Betty's Scrapbooking Room and couldn't wait to play with them!

 I applied the Tim Holtz Distress paints directly to the stamp and added a die cut border using Doily Border Dies. Quite a fun inking medium to use and love the vibrancy of the colors. I used the same paints on this second card:

I used Memento Rich Cocoa, Desert Sand and Nautical Blue ink for this card. I added an arrow using a Studio Calico wooden veneer and a little pearl bling.

There are so many great office images in this set! I used the paper clip image to go with the sentiment. The colors were inspired by 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge and took me 7:58 to make. I used some Webster's Pages patterned paper and stamped the image using Memento Rich Cocoa, sponging while still in the die with Memento Summer Sky.

This is such a fun new stamp/die set. First I die cut the pieces and then stamped using Memento ink. To create the sand, I tore a piece of Sand cardstock and lightly inked using a stipple brush.

The Craft's Meow: Turtle Love and Hogs & Kisses

I used some SEI patterned paper and stamped this adorable pig image onto pink cardstock. He was carefully cut out and popped up on pop dots.

How sweet is this turtle? I paired her with some Echo Park paper and colored with Copics. Can't wait for you to see these complete sets...Mindy is amazing and know you will love her new sets!
