THANK YOU so much!

I am absolutely loving these fall like temperatures in North Carolina. I made a quick card using some FarmHouse patterned paper and sentiment from SRM Stickers. The leaf is die cut from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Season of Change.
I was inspired by the CAS(E) the Sketch #96 challenge:

and also used the inspiration piece from the October SRM Challenge Blog:

Altered Frame for my little slugger!

Today I have an altered frame to share with you... I have been wanting to frame a picture of our youngest playing tee ball ever since last year... Tee-ball is so much fun for these little peeps and seeing how all of the little ones progress in their understanding of the game is amazing!  Jeb's current season has just about wrapped up and was tickled with this picture a friend took of him at his game last week.
I found this frame this past weekend at Hobby Lobby and love that it is an 8x8 frame, leaves plenty of room to add accents. I used the Tee-Ball SRM Stickers to coordinate with the baseball themed patterned paper. The number is a die cut from a new die set (to be released Friday) from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and will be using them a LOT!!!
Here are some close-ups:

Welcome Little One

Today I have a CAS card I created using SNSS Vintage Baby, which is only $11 this week and combined it with a sentiment from SRM Stickers. I played along with the 10 minute Craft Dash challenge and made this card in 7:47!  It was a little close as I smudged the image really bad due to an inky craft desk and had to do a quick do-over.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Make a Wish

Hi there! Today I have a card to share that I made for the CAS-ual Friday's Tic Tac Toe Challenge using SRM stickers, Spellbinders dies, Want2Scrap bling and The Crafter's Workshop stencils. I love combining these companies!! Stenciling is BIG right now and definitely been a favorite technique of mine as it makes some poppin' CAS cards.
Here is the CAS-ual Friday's challenge I used (punches, bling and birthday):

Happy Birthday

I was inspired by a card I saw recently in my LSS, (Betty's Scrapbooking Room in Greensboro, NC) using this background stamps" Glory of Modesty from Penny Black. I stamped the image using Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder before sponging with Memento Angel Pink, Summer Sky and Bamboo Leaves. I stamped and embossed the butterfly from Kisses in the Sun in similar fashion and sponged it as well. The sentiment is by SRM Stickers.

Fall Gift Bag

I am excited to be sharing my first Scor-Pal project today!  Last week the design teams from Scor-Pal and DCWV teamed up to bring you some fabulous inspiration on both blogs.

Today I wanted to share the project I made using The Autumn Melody Stack patterned paper and The Autumn Melody Cardstock Stack.  I made a gift bag and matching card.

Using a Scor-Pal and a 12 x 12 -inch piece of scrapbooking paper, score two lines: 3" and 9"
Turn scrapbook paper 90˙and score at 5" and 7" (these score marks will form the base of your bag) and fold at score marks using scor-tool to make nice crisp fold line.

Starting with one of the intersections in the center that you just folded, fold the paper towards you at an angle, see picture....
The left side needs to fold down up to the edge so it is straight.  Repeat on all four sides to make a bottom for the bag.

When all four are folded it will look like this:

To secure the edges, add some 1/4" Scor-Tape.

*Tip - I add scor-tape wherever two pieces of paper meet to keep it from gapping when paper is folded.

To add a top to the bag, I used coordinating card stock and trimmed it 2 1/2 x nearly 6 inches and scored at 1 1/4".  Then I trimmed it to fit perfectly and folded it over the top adhering with Scor-Tape (repeat on the back).

I added a scallop border and embellishment using dies/stickers.

I made a handle for the bag by cutting a two pieces of card stock 1 1/2 x 12 and using Scor-Tape taped them together so the inside of the paper did not show, it also added sturdiness to the handle.

And here is the final project along with a card featuring a rosette.

This was a lot of fun to make and hope this is something you will try!  Be sure to check out all of the projects from this week on the Scor-Pal and DCWV blogs!

Thanks

Today I have a card to share that I made for the Hope You Can Cling To challenges over on SCS.  I used the butterfly from Beautiful Spring (from The Craft's Meow) and layered strips of patterned paper from Buttercup (Lily Bee Designs).  I covered where each strip met with twine from The Twinery and added some Want2Scrap bling to trail behind the butterfly.  The sentiment is a SRM sticker, which are so fun to use!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

NinaB Designs Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever Nina B Designs Dream Team Blog Hop! We are so thrilled to have you join us on this very special day. My friends and I have some projects to show you that feature the Nina B Designs' Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (Home Sweet Home and Sewing Elements), The Craft's Meow Stamps, and Want2Scrap bling.

Here are my projects:

I used Spellbinders Sewing Elements, The Craft's Meow Sew Lovely stamp set and Want2Scrap Borders.  It is hard to believe it is only one stamp and that being the sentiment.  These dies are just amazing and I lightly sponged them with Memento Bamboo Leaves and Desert Sand.

I also made a quick circle card using Spellbinders Home Sweet Home, Want2Scrap Borders, and sentiment stickers from SRM Stickers.

This was so much fun to put together and love this little house.  The patterned paper is Echo Park Splash.

Here is a closer look at the amazing dies Nina has designed that were used for both of these projects:
