CardMaker ~ Lil'Inker Designs Blog Hop

Welcome to a CardMaker Blog hop!  Today we are focusing on the fabulous stamp/die company Lil'Inker Designs.
I have two fall projects to share and so excited about them both as I LOVE this Cover Up Die Leaf Pattern and used it in two different ways!

I die cut a piece of Ivory cardstock and used it as a stencil inking the panel with distress ink and the sentiment is from the Greetings and Salutations stamp set.

My next card uses the negative:

I adhered to a piece of white cardstock and used the stamp set Spot on Stamps. Love the two different looks with ONE die!!! Stenciling is a favorite technique of mine and just LOVE how these turned out!

Lil'Inker Designs will be giving away a $35 gift certificate!!

CardMaker ~ Basic Grey Blog Hop

Welcome to another CardMaker Blog Hop!  Today we are teaming up with Basic Grey to share some projects featuring the Basic Grey True Love CollectionI couldn't stop at just one card and before I knew it made three in a very short amount of time!  Love the 6x6 paper pad and for my first card, I combined it with the coordinating Title Stickers and Chipboard.

For this second card, I used both the letters and shapes...the chipboard is actually sticky on the pack so peel and stick... Awesome!

And finally I wanted to make something for Valentine's Day with my hubby in mind.  In May 1994, we carved our initials in a tree in Virginia so I had to use the Alphabet Stickers with the wood grained patterned paper, Chipboard and Mini Bottle Cap Epoxy Stickers...uber cool little things!

Don't you just love the variety of  Basic Grey?  Be sure to hop over to the Basic Grey blog as they are having a giveaway of a True Love 6x6 Paper Pad as well as winner's choice of three embellishments!  That would be a hard decision...which three???

Next stop on the hop is my uber creative friend Melanie...can't wait to see what she created!

CardMaker Blog Hop

Welcome to the CardMaker Blog Hop! Today the theme is Metallic Inspirations and we were challenged to create a card that is shiny and sparkly.  This was fun as I am not a sparkly kind of girl, so it was good to be challenge outside of my normal comfort zone. For my metallic, I used Good as Gold card stock and Tsukineko Delicata Golden Glitz pigment ink. The ivory panel was die cut with an ornament  die and embossed with an embossing folder (Valor M-Bossibilities).  Then, I sponged the panel with Delicata Golden Glitz ink and layered it onto a stamped Good as Gold layer which was stamped with a Christmas Story, which you *may* be able to see it in this close up behind the ornament:

The ornament image is from Hanging Treasures, stamped with Golden Glitz, die cut and layered in the center.  A few pearls and ta-dah...done!
Be sure to check out the inspiration from the rest of the team.  I know that I am looking forward to seeing the sparkly cards everyone has created!!
