Yes, I colored!! Who knew (stop laughing Linda!)...I don't color often but this image is adorable!!  I paired it with some Echo Park patterned paper and colored with Copics.

The Craft's Meow Preview ~ Holiday Poinsettia and Inside Christmas

Today the first set we are featuring is by Nina Brackett called Holiday Poinsettia:

I stamped the image onto patterned paper and colored with Copics. LOVE the little postage icon...such a fun image to add!

Today we are featuring one of the stamp sets designed by our own Clare Buswell called Christmas Lantern:

I stamped and embossed the image using Versafine and clear embossing powder. Then simply colored with markers.

Today we are featuring a stamp set designed by Karen Baker called Christmas Blessings:

The angel image was stamped onto patterned paper using Memento Luxe Rhubarb ink and embossed it using clear embossing powder.  Then simply die cut and layered.

The Craft's Meow Previews ~ Under the Tree

I stenciled a piece of Kraft cardstock using a Let It Snow  stencil from Dyan Reaveley and misted with White Linen Dylusions spray ink.The tree was color with Copics, fussy cut and popped up on dimensionals.

CSS Sketch Challenge Blog Hop

Today I am joining the uber creative STV Alumni CSS group for the first hop of October, which is a sketch challenge. Hopefully you came via sweet Joy's blog , but if not and you want to start from the beginning, go to the STV forum HERE.

Isn't this sketch just fabulous????

I recently got this fun new set, Lots of Lines, via a publication incentive from GKD and LOVE the lined images and fancy sentiments so had to work it into the sketch!!

 

The background was created using a stencil and Dylusions spray ink. The focal image was stamped separately using Clearsnap ink and popped up on dimensionals.

Next stop on the hop is Geri...I can't wait to see what she created using this fun sketch!!

The Craft's Meow October Blog Hop

Hello friends!  Today the The Craft's Meow DT is having a Autumn themed blog hop. I absolutely LOVE the fall...the leaves changing colors and falling from the trees, cooler temps, fewer bugs, Starbucks offers Pumpkin Spiced Latte's...so many things about it just make me happy :)

For today's card I used the stamp set Speaking of Fall:

I stenciled the dots to create a fun background and stamped the solid leaf image using a Spectrum ink pad and stamped the outline using Rich Cocoa. The dots were embossed using Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa and gives a great feel to the leaves!!
