GKD Release Party Invitation Blog Hop

 I used Tami's older stamp set Stars and combined it with her to be released stamp set All Occasion Tags.  Love how the tags are made to fit perfectly with the Spellbinders Grommet Tags.  Do you see the blue cardstock??  It is the newest color from Gina K. Designs: Blue Raspberry!

Little Moments...

A quick card to share today that I made using Vogue Vases and some Design Memory Craft Big Brush markers from Faber-Castell.  I paper pieced the vase using the same Herringbone CB folder as I used on the Kraft panel.  I used a the Green Olive (167) marker to color directly on the stamp and added a bit of Nougat (178) to add a bit of depth to the fern image.

I made this for the CAS-ual Friday's Color Block Challenge.  I used Popping By from My Favorite Things and created a color block with some My Mind's Eye patterned paper.   The scalloped border is from MFT, Little Open Scallop Strip.

A simple card to share today using two Layers of Color stamp sets: Granny's Jewelry and Happy Wishes.   I do believe I could crank out a LOT of these if I get in a bind come December, lol!

GKD Masculine Blog Hop

CPS#222 My Favorite Things

Hello, hello...wow just realized it has been a week since I last posted.  Obviously been busy with "this and that" and mainly chauffeuring my kids around to music lessons or ball games/practices.  Oh my...good thing school is on summer break but not really slowing down!   

I made this for the CPS#222 sketch sponsored by My Favorite Things.  I used Just My Type Die and Stamp set and paired it with some Webster's Pages patterned paper.  Sure hope you can play along as a random winner will receive a fab MFT prize!

A couple of cards to share today.  This one uses a sentiment from Follow Your Dreams and I paired it with some Webster's Pages patterned paper.

My dear friend Linda Payne sent me some happy mail last week which included this adorable stamp set from The Craft's Meow.  I just had to get it inky and thought the CAS-ual Friday's challenge (which is a sketch this week) would be perfect!  Hope it is okay as I flipped the sketch :o)

CP117 ~ Viva Decor Embossing Creme

  I made this for the Card Patterns #117 challenge. Love the sketch and gave me a chance to try some new Embossing Cream from Viva Decor in Light Green. I stenciled it on using the Botanical Swirl Art Stencil from Layers of Color and it puffed up when I dried it with my heat gun. Such a great look and obviously going to be picking up more colors. The butterfly from Flutterescent was stamped using Rose Viva Decor Soft-Color Rose and sprinkled with very fine glitter.

Gina K May Release Inspiration Hop Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of the Gina K. Designs May Release Inspiration Hop!  We are excited to share with you two more stamp sets which were released last Thursday.  First is By the Sea illustrated by Theresa Momber:

  

I used some of the patterned paper GKD Patterned Paper Pack Vintage Chic and rubbed the Broken China distress ink over a panel before layering it on Black and then white cardstock.  I used the same ink to stamp the lighthouse scene and stamped over it with the sentiment included in this set.  The Spellbinders dies are Beaded Ovals and Classic Ovals Small.

Next up is Elegant Elements, the new Free with 3 stamp set:

This was really easy to create using markers and adding a bit of bling to the center of each.  The sentiment was die cut using Grommet Tags (perhaps a bit dark in hindsight, but looks better in real life).
