GKD Sew Fun Blog Hop

Welcome to another GKD Blog Hop!  The members of Gina K.'s Design Team have come together to host a hop with sewing as the center theme. Along the hop you will find a variety of sewing techniques from hand sewing to faux sewing!

If you came from Janice's blog, you're at the right place. If not make sure to head over to StampTV where you will find a list of all those participating in today's hop.

Here is my card featuring the appearance of stitching using stamps...
The card base is In the Navy and I layered it with White which I embossed with the Cuttelbug Polka Dots folder.  The stamped stitches is In Stitches and I used a sentiment from Sew Pretty, which I thought was quite fitting :o)
The flowers I dyed with Distress stain and added a pearl to each center with Liquid Pearls White Opal.

Head on over to Lee's blog to see what she's sharing with you today!  I am thinking it will be something sparkly, and possibly pink :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

Jennie, that is an awesome background using the faux stitching set. I am in love with the stamps and need to purchase it soon. Then I can have the stitched look on my artwork as well. Thanks for the inspiration.

I LOVE this concept! So inventive! The focal image reminds me of the practice stitches we had to do in sewing class in Home Ec. And the sentiment you chose is PERFECT! I wish my brain worked like yours.
