Thrifty Patterned Paper

Just a quick card to share today...  I made this using the stamp sets: Holiday Cheer, Vintage Borders (for the worded background behind the image/sentiment), and Holiday Sentiments. The lined oval is from Spring Mix.  The musical background is actually a piece of sheet music that I crumbled, flattened and sponged with Antique Linen distress ink.  All in all a very easy card to make and LOVE utilizing actual music as  my patterned paper.  You can easily find hymnals or music from thrift stores...

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

Hi Jennie - lovely card, the colours are so warm and inviting I like the fact they are not 'traditional.
I too have bought a hymnal, dictionary and concordance at thrift shops to use as background paper - felt a bit sacrilegious initially, but I love the outcomes :-)
