Merry Christmas

Hello! I am loving creating Christmas cards this year using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and already well on my way to finishing them up for this year.
For this card, I used Vintage Ornaments, Christmas Sentiments and the foliage is from Season of Change.
This is my favorite color combination for Christmas cards and have a hard time creating without using Cranberry Tart especially.
How are you doing on your Christmas cards?  How soon do you start working on them?
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

November NinaB Designs Blog Hop

Welcome to the monthly NinaB Designs team blog hop. NinaB Designs is a product designer for a few paper crafting companies including Spellbinders, Want2ScrapPenny Black, and The Craft's Meow. For this month's hop, Nina challenged us to create something with Winter and Holidays in mind.

The holidays provide many opportunities for paper crafters to give an extra personal touch to every occasion.  Whether you are doing place cards for a dinner, tags for gift giving or even just hand made projects using your supplies on hand, it is a blessed season indeed!
Here are my projects:
I made a 4 x 4" card using Simple Stories patterned paper and decorated a $1 tin to coordinate.  It was filled with Peppermint Patties, but sadly...those are now gone :)

Here is a close look at the card using The Craft's Meow stamp set: Love Dwells Here, dies that coordinate with this set from Spellbinders: Home Sweet Home and Beautiful Bling Borders from Want2 Scrap:

Here are the products I used for my project:

To welcome you back to our blog hop, we are giving away PRIZE PACKAGES so be sure to hop along!  Nina will have more information on her blog!  Winners will be picked randomly from 2 of the designers' blogs:

CardMaker Holiday Yummies Blog Hop

Welcome to another CardMaker Blog Hop!  Today the theme is Holiday Yummies.  I created a coordinating card and treat holder using Simple Snowflakes.

The card is pretty straightforward and used Clearsnap ink and added a bit of dimension with one of the snowflakes.

And here is my treat holder:

It is simply a piece of card stock 3 1/2 x 10 1/2" and scored lengthwise at 4", 4 1/2", 5" and 9".  Simple fold and decorate.
On the inside is a holiday Peppermint Patty, a personal favorite:

Be sure to check out the inspiration from the rest of the team. I know I am looking forward to seeing the sweet projects everyone has created!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Blessings,

CSS Alumni November Blog Hop

Hello! I am excited to be joining the STV Center Stage Alumni for the November blog hop! If you came from Geri's blog you are in the right place. You don't want to miss a stop as when you leave a comment you are entered into winning a fab grab bag!
This time we were given an inspiration challenge (~ brought to us via Kay).

Isn't that just fabulous!  Here is my take on the inspiration:

I used Theresa's newest stamp set, Vogue Vases 2 and did a little but of paper piecing with the round vase. I have to say I am uber impressed with the clear stamps that GKD is offering now..makes placement so much easier, and can ditch the Stamp-ma-Jig (which for me was an extra step on every card).  I was inspired by the orange and wood elements and incorporated that into my design using Take a Hike patterned paper from Simple Stories.

And here is a close up of the wording which was inspired by the frame in the inspiration piece:
Be sure to hop along the way as you have a chance to win a grab bag of stamps from Gina K. Designs!
Next stop on the hop is the uber talented, Karen!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
