Thinking of You

I played along with the WPlus9 Design Studio birthday challenge again. I used a similar layout to the last one only this time kept it minimal: only ivory and kraft cardstock. The flowers were stamped a second time, fussy cut, sponged the centers with Cantaloupe ink, and popped up on pop dots.

The floral image is from Flora and Fauna I and the sentiment is from Guiding Light.

In My Thoughts

WPlus9 Design Studio is celebrating their 4th birthday and having a month of weekly challenges to celebrate! I am entering this card into the Birthday Celebration Week 2 Challenge: Step It Up.  

I stepped it up a bit by paper piecing the flowers using Simple Stories patterned paper and popping the sentiment up on dimensions.

Thinking of You

 Hello!  It has been a crazy busy week (another homeschool year is winding down), but wanted to squeeze in a little crafty time! I was inspired by the Monday Mood Board #10 over on the Wplus9 Design Studio blog and wanted to play along.  LOVED the colors and gave me an excuse to use some Black Canvas paint from Claudine Hellmuth Studio. I painted a piece of Ocean Mist cardstock lightly and stamped over it using Defining Words and Memento Peanut Brittle ink and layered it onto some Soft Sand cardstock. The butterfly from Flora and Fauna 1 I stamped using Versafine Oynx Black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The tag is from Timeless Tags 2 was stamped with a sentiment from Guiding Light Sentiments and added a wooden veneer from Studio Calico that I inked using Memento London Fog.

 I doodled around the tag to play along with the SCS Mix-Ability Media challenge . It is a fun new weekly challenge...mixed media is HUGE right now!!

Mood Board from Wplus9

Hello!  I have a quick card to share today using some WPlus9 stamps! I was inspired by the Mood Board over on the company website and made a card using their color challenge of Peach, Navy and Kraft.

I used three WPlus9 stamps: Damask Delight, Defining Words and Guiding Light Sentiments.

 Now I can say I am glad I finally got around to using the stamps I found via Eclectic Paperie!  They have great customer service and I highly recommend them!!
