CardMaker ~ Want2Scrap Favorite Things Giveaway!!!

 Good morning!  It is my turn over on the CardMaker blog to talk about one of my all time favorite products Want2Scrap.

Obviously, I have a slight addiction to bling...I use it in some form on about every project I make and love the extra fancy finishing touch it provides to take it up a notch.

My card today is made using Beautiful Bling Borders and Cocoa's Heart from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

Scor-Pal and Simple Stories Blog Week

I am excited that Scor-Pal and Simple Stories are teamed up to bring a fun Blog Week this past week! Today I wanted to share my S'mores Box and Easel Card.

Supplies:

Patterned Paper: Simple Stories Take a Hike and Take a Hike Simple Basics Kit

Card Stock: Gina K. Designs

Die: Spellbinders

Twine: The Twinery

Tool: Scor-Pal scoring board

Adhesive: Scor-Tape and Foam Dots

Place your 8 1/2" x 10" piece of card stock on a Scor-Pal and score at 3" and 7". 

Turn card stock and score at 3" and 5 1/2".

Turn card stock and make cuts on either side to form small flaps.

Add scor-tape and fold to form box.

Cover with patterned paper and fill with S'mores ingredients.

Using the same paper pack, I also made a coordinating Easel Card:

CardMaker ~ May Arts Blog Hop

Welcome to another CardMaker Blog Hop!!  Today we are teaming up with May Arts to share some projects featuring beautiful May Arts ribbon.  For my card I used the canvas green striped ribbon:

For my card, I used the stamp set Beautiful Spring and paired it with some Echo Park patterned paper. The flowers were stamped with Memento Grape Jelly and the centers sponged with Memento Cantaloupe. I added a sentiment using a SRM Stickers directly onto the green May Arts striped canvas ribbon.

 Today I wanted to share a card I made for January Sketch Challenge for The Craft's Meow. I used the stamp set Sew Happy and coordinating Spellbinders Sewing Elements.  I also combined it with the Moxie Fab Create Your Own Background Challenge by using a polka dot stencil from The Crafter's Workshop to create my own background.  

Have you seen the pictures from CHA?  One of my favorite trends continuing that I am thrilled about is wood veneers....so I included a few hearts on mine.  Can't wait to get a hold of some of the other fun shapes!!!

NinaB Designs January 2013 Blog Hop

Welcome to the NinaB Designs* first team blog hop of 2013! We hope you have had a relaxing holiday break and ready to join us for another year of inspirations and prizes!

*NinaB Designs is a product designer for a few paper crafting companies including Spellbinders, Want2Scrap and Penny Black, and The Craft's Meow.

For this month's hop, Nina challenged the team to create a project with the LOVE theme, which can be interpreted in many ways: Valentine, Anniversary and Friendship.
Here is my altered frame project:

I was wandering around Michael's a week ago looking for something to alter for this blog hop and came across this heart frame which I found for $1...LOVE those kind of deals! The back/sides were painted with Painterly Pink Claudine Hellmuth Studio paint and then I adhered some 12x12 Echo Park Victoria Gardens patterned paper using Scor-Tape.

  For the center of the frame I used some of Nina's stamps from The Craft's Meow, as well as the coordinating Spellbinders dies Home Sweet Home.

 Then I adhered the Blessed piece of chipboard using my Xyron Creative Station, it went through the machine very smoothly. The hearts are little wooden veneers from Studio Calico.

Get Altered Challenge - Using Canvas

Today I have a card to share that I made for the Get Altered Challenge on the Eclectic Paperie blog. The challenge is to use Canvas in some form on your project.

For my card, I used Bottom of My Heart clear stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and coordinating Heart dies.

I used Dylusions Lemon Zest ink spray and the smaller Dylusions Stencil Dotted Flower on a piece of sticky back canvas for my focal point.  The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye Love Me Do and added some Want2Scrap bling.

This set truly is adorable and have a card to share today using the turtle image:

I stamped the turtle image twice (to pop him up on a dimensional) and colored him using Copics and TouchTwin markers.  I used some scrap MME patterned paper in my stash and accented the card with some ribbon that I pleated using Glue Dots.
