Birthday Silhouettes
Last week my SU order came and in it was the Top Note Sizzix die. I think I am about the last person on the paper crafting planet to have one, but I finally broke down and bought one. At first I didn't think I *needed* it, but kept seeing some beautiful cards with it (especially Christmas cards) and wanted to give it a whirl. I used the Gina K. stamp set Tree Silhouettes to make a birthday card for my husband. He loved it, I just knew the colors and rustic look was right up his alley! Now I really need to work on my stash of masculine cards...this stamp set sure will make it easy! I have so many ideas for this, just need the time :o)

Wow! I just love this. And I think I'm the only one that doesn't have that die or a Big Shot. Sad I know.
Oh, this is so nice and great use of the die!
What a fantastic masculine card, Jennie!! I struggle with those. Enjoy your new Top Note die.
I have the big shot but no die....but I am pretty sure Spellbinders will have something pretty similar soon.
I love the rustic feel you achieved with this Jennie.
Maybe we should have a little personal challenge, each of us, to ensure we make a certain quota of masculine cards....coz seems to me....we are all in the same leaky boat...not enough of the little suckers!
Such a great card Jennie! I receive my Top Notez die a month ago and haven't used it yet. I buy a lot of stuff that I don't use! Argggh!
I love what you did with your card and the distressed look to it! Very pretty!!
