Thankful Thursday on InStyle Stamps

Every Thursday is Thankful Thursday on InStyle Stamps and this week Jennifer B. has a wonderful sketch from Maria Bell. Be sure to check it out on the ISS Blog. For this card I used the colors from this week's Color Challenge on SCS: Bashful Blue, So Saffron and Close to Cocoa. Jennifer chose a sketch from Maria with an oval for the main image and I just love it. The Retro Girls fit in there so nicely. I used Sasha for mine and stamped her twice so that I could paper piece her to add a bit of dimension.

Well, I managed to do two posts in one day and I am amazed! Have a great day!

Altered Notebook

It is my turn for another Method Monday! Did you enjoy the Blog Hop on Friday? It was a lot of fun and congratulations to Maria for winning the DT challenge, as well as to the others that won the other challenges. Today I want to feature a fun way to jazz up a little notebook (of any variety!)...I used Sasha from ISS and you can find more step by step details on the InStyle Stamps blog. When I was finished I added a few pink gems because what girl doesn't need a little bling....the end product is a handy little notebook all "girl-i-fied!" :o)) Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!
