CSS Blog Hop

Welcome to the 7th CSS Gina K. Designs Blog Hop! Can you believe we are at 7 already? This week is a sketch challenge and the inspiration for this sketch came from Deb Felt's card which she created for the last hop.

I made my card using Webster's Pages patterned paper and GKD stamp sets: Fine Furnishings and Fine Furnishings Additions.   I stamped the pattern on the chair using one of the backgrounds from Vintage Backgrounds.

Here is the sketch for this week and sure hope you can play along...

We would love to see you card so just link it up over on Stamp TV... HERE is a link to the thread. :o)  The next stop on the hop is the talented Karen Knegten. I just know she has something amazing :o)

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Limelight Papercrafts Sketch Challenge #50

It is time for another fabulous Limelight Papercrafts Sketch!!!! The product focus this week is on STRING. This is such a great sketch and for me another opportunity to use some Webster's Pages patterned paper. The papers used here are from the Garden Gala/Seaside Retreat/Nature's Storybook collection (which is only $5.99) and I paired it with some Delicate Pink Trim, Pink Burlap String and Brown Burlap String.

Here is a closer look at the sketch:

Sure hope you can play along with us. One lucky participant will receive 10 yards each of the following strings: natural, black, pink, brown and purple. What a GREAT prize!!!) Be sure to check out the Limelight Papercrafts Design Team...

Your next Blog Hop stop is... JenMarie

Challenge Team Blog Hop

Tonight we are having a special blog hop to thank our recently retired StampTV Challenge Hostess Team members: These 4 designers have provided StampTV with a challenge each week during the months of March, April, and May, which totals up to 13 challenges! To view each of their challenges in one area, click on their names and it will direct you to their Idea Center Inspiration Page.

Even better, we have a special StampTV Challenge Magazine Volume 2* located on the Freebie Tab, where all 52 of their challenges are shared in a download PDF that you can save to your computer and print out at your leisure! *We will be doing a similar magazine for our first Challenge Hostess team as well in the near future, so watch for that soon.

I made this for Tina and her Color Challenge STVCCTG5 ~ Red/Kraft/Ivory

I made this for Vicki's Sketch Challenge ~ STVSCVD03

I made this for Sharri's Blast from the Past Challenge ~ STVBPSLS04 (Kissing Technique)

This is for Karen's ABC Challenge ~ STVABCKK6

To honor the team a bit more, several GinaK Designers are joining together in a special thank you blog hop and would like to invite you to join us! After visiting the links below, please check out this discussion on StampTV and share a favorite card you've made in the past or a new one you're inspired to make using one of the challenges from any four of the challenge hostesses.
Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you enjoy the Blog Hop for these VERY creative designers :o)

Fancy a Chat?

I made this card for two challenges this week: Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge (to use blue on your card) and Play Date Cafe Color Challenge (Black/White and Blue). My inspiration for the Cinema Challenge (featuring the movie Father of the Bride) comes from the furniture in the movie and how all of it had to be moved in order to make room for the wedding guests. Quite a feat! I used some beautiful Webster's Pages patterned paper and stamped the chandelier from Fine Furnishings at an angle to create a pretty scalloped edge. I wrapped some pretty Black Crochet Ribbon and layered the focal image/sentiment.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and enjoying time with your family/loved ones.

CPS170

I made this for the CPS170 challenge this week. I used October Afternoon Fly a Kite patterned paper and the newest stamp set from Nina Brackett Fine Furnishings and Fine Furnishing Additions. I have a ton of ideas for this set...but *life* is getting in the way :o)

Sorry I haven't been blog hopping lately. Things have been so busy and time to get to a wi-fi spot is rare with the kids out of school, but the good news is.... DSL is finally coming to my neck of the woods. They are still laying the lines and crossing fingers/toes to be hooked up by the end of the month or early next month... happy day, HAPPY DAY!!!

Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
