The Lord is Good

Hello there! I have another card to share that I made for the Verve Inspiration Challenge. I used the Psalm 34:8 Plain Jane and combined it with some patterned paper and embossed the top navy panel with a Houndstooth embossing folder.
It is nice to be back to paper crafting and I have various projects running through my head...obviously most of them Christmas themed.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Merry Christmas...

I saw the November sketch over on Reverse Confetti
to create my first Christmas card of the season.
It is a great sketch to use up some long scraps I had from Simple Stories patterned paper. I am thinking this year my Christmas cards are going to be made using LOTS of scraps and will definitely be incorporating this sketch into many of them!

I used the stamp set Bring on the Merry and combined it with the Tag Me Confetti die.
My goal this year is to MAIL my cards...last year I simply ran out of time to make them and didn't send any other than the photo cards from our children's portrait session. Yep...just sad!
Do you make your Christmas cards AND send them? If so, how many?
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

THANK YOU so much!

I am absolutely loving these fall like temperatures in North Carolina. I made a quick card using some FarmHouse patterned paper and sentiment from SRM Stickers. The leaf is die cut from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Season of Change.
I was inspired by the CAS(E) the Sketch #96 challenge:

and also used the inspiration piece from the October SRM Challenge Blog:

World Card Making Day Blog Tour

Welcome to the World Card Making Day Blog Tour!!! Card making is a worldwide hobby and I am thrilled to be joining in on this special blog hop. It is fun to connect with fellow card makers from around the world and share via the internet our paper crafted creations!
I was in a fall mood and created this card using some fabulous stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti:
The stamp set is Forever Fall and the die cut chevron panel is Chevron Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts. These die cut panels are a fun element to add to projects. The patterned paper is Simple Stories which I still have from last year. The sketch for this design came from the Reverse Confetti October Sketch For You To Try.

Next stop on the hop is Niki Estes!
You can find more details on the blog hop on the World Card Making Day Blog Tour on the Paper Crafts Connection website: HERE.

Looking forward to hopping along this afternoon...I am off to a Color Run 5K with some dear friends and will hop a bit later in the day. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Thank You

I am getting back in the swing of paper crafting and while I still have lots of organizing to do...just had to play a bit while in the midst of it all. I was inspired by the CAS(E) the Sketch #95 challenge and created this card real quick. I am all about fall right now and love this Forever Fall set from Reverse Confetti.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Today is National Coffee Day and to celebrate I am participating in a blog hop for COFFEE LOVERS....obviously centered around one of my favorite things which is an essential to my morning routine!! The first thing I think about when I rouse for sleep is COFFEE. I pretty much don't talk until the very first sip, terrible, I know! However...after that sip, it's ALL GOOD!

I have two cards to share today using a favorite coffee stamp set from Reverse Confetti, Be a Barista!
The patterned paper is Carta Bella Sew Lovely and love the color pallet! I made this one for my daughter since she is a freshmen at college and has found her own love for coffee in the mornings! I added a bit of Want2Scrap bling because don't you just love the steam that comes off a coffee of fresh HOT coffee!!!!

And this next card uses the same stamp set but has more of a birthday flare...
I made this card using the colors from the Reverse Confetti September Color Challenge of pink, yellow and gray!

I started drinking coffee in college, way back in 1991 and haven't looked back. My favorite is Starbucks Verona whole bean, we love to grind fresh each morning for Cuisinart coffee pot. I have never taken the plunge into the Keurig world, I know many love the convenience, but I love hearing the grinder each morning as my husband lovingly makes up a pot each morning.

What is your favorite coffee from a coffee shop?
I always enjoy a double Starbucks Vanilla Latte, but since the Pumpkin Spice Latte's made an early debut that is what I grab when I am in town!
Here is pic from when hubby and I took off for Asheville (sans kiddos) for a quick getaway and Starbucks is always a stop!
I hope you can hop along with us! You can find out all the details HERE from Chaitali. I know that there are some cool prizes along the way and looking forward to hopping myself with my own fresh brewed cup of joe!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

A Note from the Heart

Well....it has been a LONG time since I last made and shared a card via blogging. I saw this cool sketch over on Reverse Confetti and have been itching to get back to paper crafting.
I incorporated the lovely RC sketch and used Rocky Racoon, Chevron Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts and some Carta Bella Sew Lovely patterned paper to make my first cards in months! It was fun to get crafty again and hoping to square away some time tomorrow.

Life has been busy...I am getting back in the swing of things homeschooling, our daughter graduated high school in June and left for college three weeks ago (sniff~sniff). Lots of adjustments, but we are getting used to the "new" normal and can't wait until she comes home for Thanksgiving!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
