SNSS DT Favorites Blog Hop

It's hard to believe Sweet 'n Sassy Sassy Stamps is celebrating 5 fabulous years this month.  Time sure flies when you're having fun! We have a lot planned this month in honor of our 5th birthday starting with today's special DT Favorites Blog Hop.  The best part about this hop is that all of the sets the DT is featuring are on sale---25% off today through November 7th!!!
I hope you enjoy the beautiful creations shared today featuring our favorite Sweet 'n Sassy Stamp sets!!

Today I am using three favorite stamp sets!!  First up is a 5x5 card featuring Leaf Silhouettes, my favorite leaf stamp set:
The leaves were stamped with Memento ink on a piece of sticky back canvas.  The canvas was die cut with a circle Spellbinders die and stamped over the leaves with Friendship Script Background.  Then spritzed the circle with a little Tattered Angels mist and layered with another die.
Here is a close-up of the canvas stamped circle and love the texture from the canvas:

Next is a CAS card using the stamp set Snowflake Silhouettes:

The snowflakes were stamped with Memento ink and simply added some bling! Super easy to mass produce this one!

SNSS Fall Frenzy Blog Hop

Hello stamping friends!!  We are so excited about Fall arriving soon that we've decided to celebrate the season with a Fall Frenzy Blog Hop & Virtual Stamp Day!
The Design Divas have created some fabulous eye candy for you featuring our wonderful selection of Fall stamps so we hope you'll hop along with us today!
Be sure to stop along the way because we'll be drawing one lucky commenter from a random DT blog to win a $25 credit to the store!!

Today I am showcasing two Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps sets and first is Leaf Silhouettes:
I love the solid leaf image in this stamp set and used Big Brush markers from Design Memory Craft to color directly on the stamp for the leaves.  I did a bit of combining colors to mimic the fabulous colors God reveals through the fall season as the leaves slowly change colors.  I did a bit of flicking (by coloring on my craft mat with a brown marker, spritzing with water, and picking up the color with a water color brush) to fill in a bit of the "white" space.

Don't you just love the fall colored M&M's that are showing up in stores???  I accented this little treat container using some Simple Stories patterned paper, Spellbinders dies and a sentiment from the stamp set:
And the other fall stamp set I am showcasing is Autumn Leaves:
For this card, I scored a piece of Ivory card stock every 1/4" and stamped the leaves using Versafine ink.  I colored them using Big Brush markers and sponged over it with Old Paper distress ink.  Then I stamped over it with Friendship Script.  Love the "tile" like design to the background!!!

Here's the list of blog participating in today's hop:

When you're done hopping be sure to join us for a fun day of challenges over in our Splitcoaststampers forum.  We're giving away some fun prizes, too, so don't miss it! We look forward to seeing your fabulous Fall creations!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Season of Change

Today I have a fun autumn card I made using Season of Change from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Pitt artist Big Brush pens (no ink pads, shock and awe I know!).  I colored directly on the stamp using Dark Chrome Yellow and flicked on top of it with Orange Glaze prior to stamping on white card stock.  I love the two-toned look on the leaves...  To add some filler to the white space I inked the Friendship Script Background with the Light Yellow Glaze Big Brush pen.  The sentiment was inked with Caput Mortuum and and some flecks by coloring with the same marker on my craft mat, spritzing with water and then flicking over my panel using a water color brush...uber cool technique, and a favorite!

Here is a closer look at the flecking:

Wildflowers

Hello!  I managed to make a quick card last night using Wildflowers from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and coloring direct to stamp using PITT artist Big Brush pens (in Ochre, May Green, Green Olive and Caput Mortuum).  I stamped over the image Friendship Script Background with Old Paper distress ink and distressed the edges.  Very easy peasy.... :)
