Tuesday Trigger ~ Beautiful Wishes

I was so inspired by the Tuesday Trigger: Winter Blossoms over on Moxie Fab World.    I was inspired by the group of flowers and wanted to do a little bit of masking with two of the flowers in the Dotted Dahlias clear art stamp set from Layers of Color and stamped them with Memento London Fog ink.   Then using the Ink Blushers I sponged the flowers with Desert Sand, Cantaloupe and Angel Pink.   I embossed a panel of Smoky Slate cardstock, wrapped the panel with lace and The Twinery Stone twine and added some pearl bling from Want2Scrap.

Here is the Tuesday Trigger and hope you can play along (you have until Thursday, January 26th):
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Beautiful Wishes

This week is absolutely flying!!  I wish there were some way to slow down the month of December...it seems every day just flies.

A quick card to share today that I made using Dotted Dahlias from Layers of Color.  I embossed the floral image using Versamark from Tsukineko and clear embossing powder.  Then sponged over it with Evergreen Bough (from the Tim Holtz Winter Distress ink line), sprinkled a little water on top and set it with my heat gun.  Quite easy card...which I love! :)

As busy as these days are stamping time is hard to come by...  Off to start on dinner and perhaps a little wrapping of presents too.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Welcome! Come on in and join us for a spot of tea and enjoy these tasty treats for the eyes!

My mother, daughter and I share a love of a hot cup of tea...and must say my daughter has learned from her grandma perfectly!  She makes the best cup of tea.  My current favorite is a London Fog, nothing better at the end of a long day.  I made a card using Dotted Dahlias and the Nested Tea Cups to create a card and altered a Twinings Earl Grey tin cansister.  Here is a card I made:
And the inside:

The sentiment is from Teacup Blessings.
It just seemed right to have a matching tin and would make a great little gift for a tea.

Thank you for spending this lovely time together with us today! What a joy to be here with you! Please help yourself to these lovely tea-inspired FREE TEMPLATES exclusively from Layers of Color!...
