Oh, Taste and See.... SSICC#99

I made this for the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge #99.  Layers of Color is sponsoring the challenge this week and the challenge is to create a card or project that depicts the sharp contrast of black and white/ivory.  I used the clear art stamp set Encouragement and paired it with the Belle Brocade art stencil.  I used Viva Decor White Embossing Creme on the stencil and love the puffy dimension it gives to the background.  The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock and die cut with the Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares die.

LOC: Embroidered Butterfly

Just a quick card to share that I made with the new Cling Art Stamps from Layers of Color: Embroidered Butterfly.  I combined this card with three different challenges: the sketch from CPS 189, the Moxie Fab Trigger Tuesday: Momento Mori, and the color challenge from Just Us Girls #55 (Black, Cream and Kraft).  I added a bit of Webster's Pages patterned paper and used the  Belle Brocade Art Stencil along the bottom of the card.  The Embroidered Butterfly was sponged with Memento Desert Sand ink and then painted with Clear Crackle Paint.  After it dried (and crackled, which is oh so cool looking!!) I sponged some darker brown ink to define the cracking.
